I was driving on route 8 in SA to adelaid and they had a "L" shaped bar on the side of the road with the top hanging over the road with 4 cameras (one for each lane). No chance thats trafic surveylance. The traffic serveylance cameras are very basic as opposid to the big complicated cameras that cathes ppl speeding.
Btw any1 got a list of all the cams in Victoria?
Also a list of the active ones?

in nsw they have cameras on bridges to monitor the trucks one for each lane..
In NSW all permenant speed cameras are well posted so i dont see why they would be hiding them ontop of telegraph poles where it would be allmost impossible to service them

They are traffic cameras.. most are to monitor the T-way lanes. It's been posted on other forums before.

I've got most of the fixed cameras and red light cameras in my GPS it goes beep when I get within 100m of one.
