don't think so, these corrolla runx's have a ton of stuff we don't have on our corroll's, just from clicking various links on that site about the runx i learnt it's far above spec to local offerings.
Did our corrola's ever come out with a 2zz?

so toyota came good on those inflated figures (not putting out the claimed power)?
toyota are going to be getting so much bigger then what they already are due to fuel prices, and there excellence in fuel efficient engines and head start on hybrid/electric cars. Honda too!

Corolla Sportivo to us, Corolla RunX to Japan, Corolla Matrix to the USA and Corolla T-Sport to Europe, they're all the same car.
You should be thankful Toyota Australia did take note
The 'Z Aerotourer' model RunX does offer a few more features (options like Xenon lamps, sequential shift, sunroof, different body kit etc), but make no mistake, they are the same car.
There is a 2 door version (Europe), and also an 4wd model (Japan & Europe), but I don't think the 4wd version comes with the 2ZZ.
EDIT: Also, for dingaling's benefit, Toyota's current WRC car is based on the 4wd Corolla platform (with customised ST205 running gear).

the ALLEX is basically the Aus sportivo body (hatch thing) with 2ZZGE engine.
most cars are available to Hokkaido as 4WD, but not necessarily to the rest of japan.
