maybe with the right tuning and the correct choice of race fuel... such as methanol
seriously tho, 10psi is a fair whack on that compression, but with the right race fuel it is possible i would guess..
with methanol or LPG, it is doable also.. but you would have to be careful with timing and intercooling...
not every mug will be able to just slap a turbo on there and run 20psi is what i'm trying to say..

The yellow 1UZ-TT RA28 was a cover car in Zoom maybe 2 years ago. From memory it ran stock engine, some methanol and a "dry ice in an esky on the back seat" intercooler system, so intake temps were lower than ambient. Seemed to run fine and put down some good times.
Sounds possible with good fuel and good tuning, but I wouldn't want to rely on it for daily transport.

JustenGT4 is running 12psi at latest reports and got 331 rwkW and was looking at water injection to help up the boost a little more.
I certainly believe that 20psi on a std motor is asking for trouble without a whole host of supporting mods and other detonation savers as well.

Chances are that article was written by a friend of that RA28 Celica.
It did like 25 passes at 28psi I think. Unopened motor (complete custom boltons though).
I think it blew after its second pass on 30-something pounds, but I'm too lazy to find the article to verify this.

have you seen the lack of room in the engine bay of a UZZ31?
by all means go for it but research where you would like to bolt the turbos first dude...
