A mate of mine has a KE70 Corolla wagon and is looking to do an engine swap. what is the best value for money swap? he doesn't want to go turbo or supercharged so i suggested the 4A-GE. I don't know a great deal about corolla's so can some people give me some suggestions?

The 4age is the fair easiest conversion. The motor bolts straight in

if you can find an ae70 x-member the 4age will bolt right in....

otherwise you have to play with engine mounts.

are there any hastles with front wheel/rear wheel drive conversions?

what is the usual price for the engine?

is the KE70 gearbox compatible?

how much of a power increasement?

No, the KE70 gearbox is not compatible with the 4AGE.
FWD to RWD conversion requires modification of inlet manifold and radiator hoses etc
Power outputs? 4K 47KW 4AGE either 86 or 100KW depending on type...You WILL notice the difference!
