Hi,

Does anyone know at what revs or kph the change from second to third gear should occur on a properly functioning RA65 AUTO gearbox?

I have just fitted one to a RT142 and find I'm in second at 60 kph. Is this normal?

Depends on your foot position.

Older (ie non electronic controlled trannys) will shift gear purely on RPM and throttle position.

If the kickdown cable is correctly adjusted then it should work fine (providing its in good condition)
