Overhauling/fixing fuel pumps

Hey everyone,im using a VL commodore external fuel pump (bosch sealed type unit) to supply that expensive stuff to my 3tgte but shes decided to cark it,does anyone know any tricks on getting these to work again or is she a chuck away job,im guessing i cant sucessfuly take her apart and put her back together as shes got a pressed cap at one end

There is plenty of know probs with the VN/VP fuels pumps, has to do with their plascic parts or some crap.
My makes VP killed 2 in a year. And this is normal!
Both times they have trown them out, maybe they can be pulled apart but to a mechanic, it is not worth their labour

They are a unit that is pressed on the ends during manufacture, they are not meant to be a serviceable unit. Any parts needed would have to be found in another dead pump and chances are it may have the same failed components.
They are relatively cheap, just don't ask for a VL turbo pump as you pay extra at most places for something that has the same part number as a NA VL or Camira pump.
