ST204 Brakes prob Tue, 06 September 2005 22:36 Go to next message
Well i have a ST204 and the rear pads on the drivers side seem to be wearing on an angle, but when i go over bumps it makes a squeeking noise i assume this is to do with the pad not being flat but does anyone know what the cause of this would be?

lets say one side of the pad is 8mm thick and the other is around 13mm, this is when you are laying it flat (best description i can give)

i took the wheel and disk off and everything looked ok

help please this noise is pain ful

most likely is a sticky caliper slide. make sure they are clean and sealed well by the rubber boot and that the action is smooth and without sticking. some slight resistance is normal as long as it is smooth.
