the extractors have slip joints at both the head and the collector, is fairly common.. means that a bit less vibration is transferred and you crack the extractors less (aiui)

yaknow, it never occurred to me to take the dizzy cap off... not sure it would be appreciated tho...
so next time... dizzy cap off, ask to have cam cover removed...

How hard does that rev? Because the crank pulley looks damn tiny in comparison to the water pump and alternator pulleys. Was this an actual competition engine? What car was it used in?
