hey guys
im lookin at putting a 4agze into my beloved ke70 corolla. I have read alot of sites about things like this, and having already done an engine swap, 4k-c to a 4k-c im of the belief i should be able to do this without too many tears. my main issue is will my dash and all of those bits and peices, ie tacho, speedo, temp gauge, will they all still work? or will it depend on my wiring, how will i wire all this in, will i require a whole load of aftermarket gauges
also wats a good strong box i could run??
thanx peeps

well tacho will need a tacho booster
temp is fine if u bolt in the temp sender from the orig eninge
same goes with oil light
alternator wiring needs redoing as the 4agze has internal reg and ke30 has external so wiring needs to be modified on car loom
speedo just run cable to std rwd gbox or whichever box u use

you dont need a tacho booster if you mod the tach driver board in the cluster. Only takes two resistors and a capacitor to make it work perfectly. I've done the same thing to my AE71 4agte running GZE electronics...
the guide for the AE86 dash is here:
http://www.rollamods.com/tech/ae86gzetacho.pdf
The AE71 tacho board is a little different but the component values are the same.
