Sometimes it wont work at all or is really slow to respond. Now assuming its caus the host is shitty, can the admins look into a better host and then we will work out donations?

alot of people have this problem and it is covered in membership .... forum.
i dont remember why it does it but it seems to do it to me a fair bit.

as said before, it's the forum software. when someone edits a post some database thing is rewritten and that slows things down..
also something to do with msgs being marked as read..

But would I be correct that its not a prob that couldnt be fixed whether it be by using a newer different forum board or a new host?

The problem is this version of the forum software has a bug. This bug is easily fixed by upgrading software. The board however has decided to change forum software completely. I would imagine that this change will not allow the current database to be merged over. What this means is that all the posts on this forum will eventually disappear like the old forum.
All this is just what I have read from the bottom of my tea cup so I could be wrong. I hope i am
