1GGTE into a 4A-C powered Tercel, possible?

Was just wondering what (if any) sort of engine mounts need to be made to fit a 1GGTE into a 4A-C powered car. I seen a Sprinter with one in it and I assume you would need to have some new mounts fabricated to make it fit. How hard? How much?
I am looking at putting a 1GGTE into a Tercel (with supra/celica box and new diff) instead of what everyone else seems to be doing which is put a 4A-GZE into a Corolla. (I like to be different, hell, I own a Tercel and have modified it thats different enough). The 4A-C is not only long in the tooth but worn out and is getting beaten by smokey old 1600 Gemini's. Also I can get another Tercel for about $800 and build it up. I will also need to convert the previously front wheel/all wheel drive setup the Tercel has by putting a new diff in it (for rear wheel drive). What measurement should I take of the old box and tunnel to see what would fit? What sort of diff do you recommend?
Any help would be great.

This is not the easiest conversion you can undertake. And at the end of the day, the 1G-GTE is too heavy for a Tercel. Your car will be front heavy and won't handle very well.
Why not try a 4E-FTE out of a Starlet GT Turbo?

A Tercel is a very similar size to a Sprinter, as a mater of fact the engine bays look very similar. The type of Tercel I am talking about is a 1984 Toyota Tercel 4WD, they are similar to the Toyota Corolla 4WD of the 1990's but are not full time 4WD (FWD/4WD). The motor is mounted conventionally aswell which would make it easier. I might post some pics not many people know what a Tercel is they just mistake them for the old Subaru 4WD wagon (I have a big TOYOTA sticker on the back of mine).

Yes doing away with the 4x4 and dropping and supra/celica diff into it if I can and just have rear wheel drive (will require new diff and tail shaft/resize aswell I guess).
And I am not saying that knowone knows what a Tercel is but I have a problem (up in north queensland) with it being called a subaru. Atleast they keep yours in the family when they call it something different.

Dude, you should try to keep the 4WD perhaps, I mean, what's the tercel without 4WD? a big corolla (or maybe sprinter if you make it RWD)
My choice would be as much power as the drivetrain can handle, maybe a 20V? a 4WD revving to 8500 would be alotta fun!!
I think a 1G would kill the 4wd pretty quick

I know the Tercel you're talking about... The 1G-GTE is not something I recommend in a Sprinter either... Too heavy for such a little car.
It's OK if you only plan on driving the car only in a straight line. Well, if you do the conversion, you wouldn't have too much of a choice...
I'd recommend (in order of difficulty) a 4E-FTE, 20V 4A-GE, 4A-GZE, or 3S-GTE.
Keeping the 4WD is a big no-no if you're going for big power. The Tercel gearbox would prolly have trouble keeping together behind a 20V.....
