I did a search for "boost" & "sc12", nuthin came up so....
What are the actual psi that an sc12 and an sc14 run at?
And with 175 pulleys if someone has that answer too...

so in essence the ammount of pressure will be dependant on the size of your engine, volumetric efficency, the relation between crank rpm and charger rpm

Relationship of presure, dependant on engine size????
Well I was just after a basic psi reading off a boost gauge. And as psi stood for pressure per square inch I'm pretty sure..... I would think it would not be dependant on engine size...

On the contrary dude, all boost pressure is, is air that the engine is having trouble ingesting, hence it shows up as positive pressure in the manifold.

well you can have your SC12 with stock pulleys the straight way, OR you can get experimental and try it with baked beans on toast

if your talking about a 4agze then the sc12 stock runs at between 6-8 psi and with a nevo 175mm pulley it runs between 11-14 psi (this is in combination with the stock s/c pulley) as for the sc14 i have no idea.

Converting SC12 boost to SC14 boost.
Boost using SC 14 = ((Boost using SC12 + 14.7) * 1.4/1.2) - 14.7
Given the same pulleys, all units being psi, and being a rough guide.

bloody rocket scientist rooster!
I am guessing the 1.2 and 1.4 is the CC of the 2 units, but whats the 14.7?

A REAL SC14 BOOST LEVEL

Hi,
4AGZE uses SC12, 1200cc/rev
1GGZE uses SC14, 1420cc/rev
All AW11s I have ever seen (read LOTS) run about 8psi stock, unless their supercharger is stuffed or the belt is completely stuffed or loose, on there is leak in the inlet system.
My opinion is that while anything is possible, don't push an SC12 past about 14psi as I have seen atleast two with stuffed rotor coatings from hard use at this overdrive ratio. A Stock 'ZE AFM ECU with kill your engine above 14psi by leaning _right_ out due to (I hypothesize) thinking the AFM output must be bullocks!
My 4AGZE now, running a Suby intercooler, 168mm crank, 120mm levin SC12 pulley which I transplanted onto the SC14 makes just over 18psi from about 3000rpm up, there is about 12psi avaliable from 2000rpm. I _think_ there is about 1.5psi gained from my less restrictive inlet system (70mm pipe, bigger IC, 60mm throttle)
My current overdrive ratio (which I use now with an SC14), when used with the SC12 on my unmodified otherwise stock AW11-GZE engine gave 11.5 PSI pressure at the manifold, which is still a nice improvement over stock.
Cheers, Nick

I built a 4K with EFI and a SC12 (4KZE) running 1:1 pullies it makes 10 psi boost at 3800 rpm and about 3-5 psi from 1500 rpm up.
SC14 will not physicaly fit on a 4k so its not a option
