	Hi,

Well the old, original plates for the old girl are coming off tonight. Goodbye LUA-099, you have served me very well, since June 1982.

Tomorrow she will be adorned with new customised plates as a part of my slow, albeit complete restoration of a great Toyota marque.

You tell 'em, old fella.

BlackSupra's only being a smartaleck 'cos he knows he's a bit of a pretty boy at the moment. But age will take its toll and those femine features of his will all too soon disappear. In years to come people will call him an old fart too.

	Hi,

Yeah, I read about the Adelaide classic but afraid my car won't be over there in that time frame. Actually, hopefully it will be in the paintshop getting aa new coat of paint and original GT stripes applied.

Dunno if I'll let anyone drive it though 'cos Gold28 drove it the other night and he got a bit of a boner and I was so embarrased that I thought not to let anyone else drive it.

heh - well i didnt hold my breath on that one

come november if you are free come see us at classic , youll get to see another rare 70's supercoupe being punted about by yours truely ( or so im being told for a few stages anyway! ) in the form of a genuine Perana Capri V8

Were still putting the finishing touches to it so were hoping to christ it all comes together ( car owner/ co driver got sent to iraq with teh army medical core, which has upset planning a tad) otherwise just look for the Mint red rs2000 Escort Mk2 .. Thats our spare car

Would be good to say hi to a few SA toymodders

Yeah I saw Gold28 driving it, I'm also pretty sure as it went down the road I heard the engine revs go over 3000rpm

I hope you didn't scold him too hard for that.

I've also heard through the grape vine that Blacksupra is now over the power trip of the inferior 7M engine and is currently fitting an 18R-G to the Soarer.

See now if you went carbies, think of the weight savings in pulling all of that unneeded techie, new fangled, ansy-fancy computer wiring out.

And just stick 22re pistons in the 18R-G
