thanks toby, I got given a complete aus spec engine. what is the difference in the heads apart from exhaust pipe????

Quite a lot from what I can gather? (I'm no expert in this field).
Bill Sherwood has alluded to a version of the 7A-FE that is very good, better than 4A-GE's etc, tho I don't recall the exact details. You should be able to find a few threads in which it has been talked about if you dig hard enough.

I have 7AFE inlet manifold with fuel rail and three good injectors if you want it...
