Do 4AG's sit on an angle? Sun, 11 September 2005 06:25 Go to next message
When I dropped the 4age in yesterday, i noticed it sat on a slight angle. Sorta like it went further down on the exhaust side than the intake side. After looking through the members section I've seen a few that sit on the same angle and some that sit flat, which is normal??

Cheers,
Kev.

Hi,
My TA22 has a 4AGZE in it and we sat it on an angle. It sits on the same angle as the 4AGE in my brothers Sprinter.
I've seen a PBR clubman with a 4AGZE that used to see club day action, and that had the engine flat.
The 3 Sprinter's I've seen (with 4AGE/ZE) have the engine on a small angle.

Cheers,
Justin

Slight angle, if you sit it straight the gearbox will be on a slight angle.

The base of the sump should be horizontal, which mean the engine sits on a slight lean.
