only prob with them is if yr batt voltage gets below 9 or 10 volts the microtech has a hard time starting the engine
especially if the person who wired it has wired the battery wire not to the battery
for very good voltage i always run the batt wire for a microtech straight to the batt positive not to starter positive or alternator positive
always to batt pos terminal
this way it will eliminate any bad connections or current draw
but if bat is low theres no prob jump startin it just put neg clamp from jumper leads to the engine not to bat terminal this is mainly a safety for surges
