i cant for the life of me work out how to make a DVD out of a .avi file
i have tried Nero, DVDclone ect ect
cnat get it to work
how do u do it

nero is ok, but make sure you do the double pass option. and do it last thing before you go to bed (or some other time when you dont need your comp) because it takes a while.

yep, find a copy of Nero 6 Ultra.or newer if they have one?
So simple, just drag and drop the files, you can make ya own menus with moving graphics and sound too. Very worth investing in a copy!
Buy yeah, as rodney said, it takes a fair while to re-encode the file to digital quality for DVD, so if anyone has anything that is similar but faster use that!and tell me how it goes!

i got a copy of winavi, seems to be working ok, taking 1 hour 10 mins to encode the 810mb avi to dvd quality.
then i have to burn it
i have nero smartstart, it keeps fucking up on me, as does power producer gold

What about divx to dvd? And avi/divx to dvd for mac.
