Done the search. Can anyone confirm the diff ratio that comes with a 1990 supra with manual 1GGTE. I have had numbers quoted from 3.9, 4.1, up to 4.8. Truth please.

i never heard of a 4.8 ratio for G series diff's.
Your identification plate on the firewall has the axle code of your diff. If you can get that you should be able to find out.

Ok. Found the compliance plate. Trans/diff code was W58 G254.
So, according to my info, it is an 8inch 4.556 4 pinion diff.
My 4.37 hilux diff is not too far off then.
