How come on the track that had oil, the EVO lost traction but the 86 didn't? Any ideas

Bwhahhahahahahahaha thats classsic, put simply its a cartoon it defies the laws of physics, that or takumi had special oil tryes on.

takumi kept on practising after the oil spill, so he knew how slippery it was, but the evo hadnt raced on that bit of road since the oil had been cleaned up hence the slip

From memory wasn't Takumi looking to take the outside and then he was about to when the Evo slipped on the oil making him go wide and then Takumi took the inside to get the lead?
