Most of that made no sense, and belongs in the PARTS WANTED section.

But yes, 1JZ sumps bolt to 2JZ's.
NA stuff can be used too, you just have to add turbo oil drains.

So would there be any problem in using an aristo sump instead of a chaser sump on a 1j-mx83 conversion?

I've heard rumours from people that JZX90 sumps, and Aristo sumps dont fit.

But
A) I can't see this being the case in real life.
I've compared pics side by side of 3 different JZ sumps, all pressed/cast differently, but with same dimensions.

and

B) I'm pretty sure Southo used an Aristo sump in Project Sleeper (and JZX81 mounts)

Hmm, I would have thought you could use either. If they all bolt up as normal I wouldn't have thought that the dimensions would be much different between chaser and aristo front sumps.

Thanks mate Smile

I have a Mid-rear sump (ex jzz30) that I will gladly swap for a front sump (or will sell, prefer swap tho Smile)!

Mid-rear is the sump you require if I am reading your posts correctly.

It is complete bar dipstick.

PM me a phone number.

Cheers
Wilbo

I've got front, mid and rear sumps lying around here, and they all interchange on the same engine without problems, so I can't really see any issues.
