Weird Knock in 4AGE

Hey guys,
My engine is in now and i started it for the first time. Found a water leak coming from under the Throttle Body area.
Then the next day i started it again to go for a test drive as i just bled the brakes and it had no water leaks but a new knock started from around the cam gear, timing belt, tappet cover area. Sounds like metal nipping metal as something goes around.
I changed the timing belt to if that helps.
Anyone got any ideas what it could be.

OK had another listen to it this afternoon and i have got it down to the inlet cam gear area just not sure what is making the noise. Only happens when revs build up and or it engine shakes more then at a smooth idle.
Sounds kinda like the cam gear/sprocket it hitting one of the bolt head behind it. Dont ask me how its doing that.
Also that side looks like it wobbles a bit more then the exhaust cam.
I really need ur help. Dont want to drive car like it is.

Is it in the bottom end? if so...some knocking sounds can be signs of a spun big end bearing

Water leak may be coming from the heater, where the heater hose attached to the piping in the firewall. It's copper so it's a bit delicate. maybe u accidently crimped it.

No water leak now. Dont know why just isnt.
The heater pipe is just in a loop so theres no coolent going past there. The stupid heater felt like it was on all the time so i did that.

have you checked that the bolt holding each cam gear to the cams are tight? The gear will flog itself back and forward on the locating dowel if it is not. They should be torqued to 43 ft/lb.

Id be cheaking that the cams are getting a good supply of oil to them, while you were doing the T/Belt was the oil baths under the cams full ?,ive heard of 4ages with no oil in the head having real trouble getting the pump to start to supply up top because of an air block

Havn't done that.
I think the bearings in the idler pulley are shot.
But still don't think they would make that kinda noise.
Damn wish I could record it some how.
