Hello All,
Is there another location in which I can relocate my petrol filter on the MA61 away from the engine?
Cheers.

What filter did you use there? Does it have the correct fittings or did you have to get fuel lines made up to suit?

Standard fuel filter (standard 5MGE Cressida one that is)
Standard hoses and fittings, just lengthened to suit new location (cost me $75-$90 from memory)
Only did it because the extractors were sitting 1" from the filter/lines.
And they tend to start glowing occasionally. (looks WELL cool)
So decided to move it.
Been there over a year now, its got a dodgy guard on it

But the engineer has seen it, and passed it at the time.

I used a stock MA61 one, using a cutoff SV21 Bracket (which is only held on by one bolt now), mounted low on the side of the engine upright. The stock MA61->Fuel filter line fits, and a simple banjo->banjo hose was sourced (from an EFI Charade in my case) connects it to the 1JZ fuel input.
I have not pics of it at the moment.
Cheers

Ah, I remember trying the MA61 filter and the banjo->banjo hose is what I was missing to make it work. I must organise a time to see what you've done there. Methinks it's about time I put a fuel filter in my car... frankly I'm amazed it still runs after 2.5 years like this.

Why not use an inline filter, e.g. Z200, someplace convenient under the car?

If we could find some place convenient (that is why I posted)...
