Hi All.
I have just purchased a MK II MX22 corona, and was wondering what the difference between to MX22 and MX23 is, besides the 2M and 4M engines.
Are the panels interchangable?
I am after bonnet, boot lid, doors, guards and dash pad?
Thk's.

To convert to manual, you need:
Pedal box
Clutch Master & Slave Cylinders + Piping
Flywheel
Clutch
You could use a W50 out of a celica, using a MK2 / Crown manual bellhousing
You'll need to cut about an inch extra out of the rear of the hole in the trans tunnel
And put a wire loop in the plug of the inhibitor switch to allow it to crank.
Its an easy job if you can source a manual MK2 for parts.
If someone finds an instrument cluster for one of these (round guages) please let me know!
Cheers

Easiest option remains a W50 box. It should be a bolt up job (it was with my MX13) but someone here tried with an MX10 and had all sorts of grief with gearbox crossmembers etc....
With a W55, you'll need to source a bellhousing from an MA61 or MA70. I'm not sure on gearbox lengths etc so you may need to play with tailshaft length. The spline is the same from A34 auto to W40, W50 and W55/6/7/8/9.
