4AGE LOW REVS PROBLEM

HEY i just bought a GTI AE92 . it has a problem when in low revs .the car does not want to move and seems to back fire and smokes quite bad. i have checked the the plugs and the leads they seem to be fine . i was just wondering wat would b the problem ?

Check the timing. Or a fuel pressure regulator. is it balck or white smoke?
black = fuel
white = oil

Wouldn't blue be oil and white be coolant?

coolant is steam oil is white/blue very hard to tell the difference some times.
White could also be tyre smoke but thats something else all together.

it;s white and smells to b running rich .when i cheked the plugs ,wer they sat was full of oil the car it heaos jerky until bout 3500 RPm then just goes like normal. the other day while i was drving two cylinders cut out so i was only two for a while !!
