Oops thats right you dont have a bonnet, my bad... Haven't even started to unpick the radiator support yet! You wouldn't have a good R/H guard would you? Or what about a R/H guard that is damaged but the bottom wear it bolts to the sill panel is ok?

Hey Karl, what do you have in the way of engines?

Friends gen1 3sge is burning a few litres of oil/week.
was looking for a gen3, but really anything will do. (even another gen1 block with complete bottom end and pistons to rebuild and wack in his celica.)

i have 2 engines in the garage,

1/ just a block which had awesome compression, but spun a bearing.

2/ complete engine, was working in the car. compression test showed.

1. 90psi
2. 160psi
3. 165psi
4. 160psi

let me know if any of these are any good to you. if you are after a good 3sge, i might be able to help you source one.

cya

hey i have a good tail light, which one are you after though?
86 model flat one, or the 88 with a black line through the middle. front lip requires TLC , and I should have some brake pads laying around you can have for free. let me know which model tail light you want and i will send you a price via PM.

Hey Karl,

Well my discs are about 20.6mm so I think I might as well keep those and get them machined. According to the manual the minumum is meant to be 21mm but I'll be buggered if I can find any that thick anywhere!

Still very interested in the speedo cable though, shoot me a PM as I won't be on MSN much at all this week. I'm keen to get hold of it ASAP mate.

Cheers,

Hey Karl, me again..... Razz

Have you got a set of front and rear engine mounts that aren't broken? I only just discovered that the ones that came with my Gen 3 3SGE won't bolt up to the crossmember, and my original ones are shagged so no point in reusing them. (The side ones were ok though.) Let me know.

Matt

edit: BTW the speedo cable arrived last week, installed it over the weekend along with the new engine!
