Hi all i have a 3.9 open centre T-series complete rear end out of a late model T18, it has swaybar mounts, drum to drum, and comes with complete T-18 tail shaft, its in good nick, recently bought from the wrecker for about $230 incl shaft, so its been checked. Everything you need for an easier AE86 upgrade just bolt it in
In Melb pick up only, maybe i can deliver at the right price
any offers? will supply pics if interested

I'm yet to come across one of these bad boys.
I think there was only 1 model of T18 with a rear sway?

the advatages are:
- T series is a bigger stronger diff centre/axles
- Bigger Drum Brakes
- Centre's are interchaneable with celica, ke70? and afew other cars so for $100 from a wrecker you can upgrade from 3.9 to 4.1,4.3 etc, unlike S-series which only came in 3.9
- trd, cusco, toyota etc. Lsd centres can be used in T series not S series
- T series is basically a JDM rear end minus the disc brakes, note not all JDM come with lsd
yeah just a fluke i got a late model one, it is even written on it, but i compared it and its a straight bolt in. maybe the sway bars were only in Series 3 T18s the ones with black bumpers? there arent many of them around, i know i had one!

sorry no pics, cant be bothered, its just a big hunk of metal lol
going to be sold to my mate i'll ask him tonight if he wants it otherwise, choony will get it if no more offers
for interests sake MOST ! not all, so dont tell me i got mine for blah blah, but most wreckers sell the rear end, which usually doesnt have swaybar mounts, that means cutting and welding your old ones, for around $143-$188! then the tailshaft averages from $44-$66 all price incl GST, i paid around $220 or something 2months ago, never used it, sold my car, so $150 is a good deal
