how much does a piece of string cost??

hey guys, applied for a loan to finish off my car today, but applied for shit loads more then i'll need, been thinking of all the things i might spend the money on, so i was curious as to what kinda money i'd be looking at to replace the diff??? what i'd like, is something with an LSD and disc brakes... preferable from a lateish model hilux, or something like that, i'm not sure if they came stock with a LSD center, but surely someone would make a center for it... so... how much DOES a piece of string cost??
a)0-$1000
b)$1001-$2000
c)$2001-$3000
d)all the above?

depends what mods you have to do to make it fit... ideally you'd want to just get the right width (or close enough that you can take up difference with rim offset.
you'll be welding mounts on anyway, but changing width will make it much more expensive...
try and find the right width and buy more beer
