i've just bought a spontah and i want to set it up for drift..
will this be a good engine for drifting, cos i wanna drift in 2nd gear..will it fit in my spoontah?? i've already got short stroke shocks and 12kg/mm springs...
what else do i need? where can i get the right stickers... i was thinking maybe Nismo and Toms.... or maybe TypeR?????
ahh fuggit.. i tried to imitate the por speeling but it just didn't work 
are the TB's the 1UZ ones (i mean specifically made) or are they generic TB's and custom manifold?

i wonder what boost that whipple is running?? with no IC, the outlet temps are pretty high, but i guess there is not much space for WTA underneath it....

Meh, that first pic is the CarbonTech setup.
Never went into any kind of production.
What you see is as far as it got.
Never worked either.

Nah, Champ Car (CART) motor, methanol burning single turbo, no intercooler 2.65 litre.
You can see the mount for the series spec popoff valve on the top of the plenum.

Of course, I was trying to work out what it was, but with all the specs in Japanese I figured it would be that. Forgot that IRL went NA too.
Restrictions are always a challenge to an engineer, they'll always find *some* way to make as much power as possible given the restrictions in place, how many times did the V8 Supras have to be slowed down?

The indy cars went from 90 to 180 degree crank pins 3 or 4 years ago, be interesting to find out how much power they might have gained through the improvement in exhaust scavenging. Anyway they sound much better now.
I believe Toyotas have just pulled out of IRL. (bit of trivia)

It used to just be Indy, but then they split up into IRL (Indy Racing League?) and Champcar.
