Looking for something to do over summer that is unbelievable fun, great fitness, and a great way to meet people?
Then come out with the Powerblades Dragon Boat Club!!!
Dragon Boating is now officially the worlds largest water sport, and there is a very good reason for it:
- Dragon Boating is unbelievable fun
- it is the best way to keep fit over the summer period
- a great way to meet people
- you have the option to travel interstate or overseas with the
club to compete on the world stage
- and lots more!!!
Currently the Powerblades are seeking more paddlers to further their incredible success, and are looking for anyone who may be interested in paddling competetively or socially. Everyone is welcome, bring your friends, special prices for University students.
If you would like more information then drop me an email: exterminate@tpg.com.au (our club abides by the privacy act) or send me a PM.
Anyone is welcome to come out and give it a try with no pressure to join. Hope to see you on the water!

Forgot to mention that it was in Adelaide. So if you are an Adelaidian we train at Aquatic Reserve at West Lakes.
Yeah drifting may be fun, but it aint gonna get you fit

heh heh, i'd like to se a dragon boat club turn a profit...
and surely it'd be good for some of the "larger" adelaide toymods members to get out and get a bit fitter, rather than just pounding the keyboard
but yeah, maybe run it by the board
but it's fun, some weny dude gets to beat a drum while all the burly dudes grunt and hoik their paddles.... it's like viking days all over again (but with chinese flavour )
ooh, maybe you should invite River he's in adelaide and likes vikings

Actually it is not really a form of advertising because we are a non profit sports club, so we are not advertising to make a profit.
Re WANTED_AE86 comment, your absolutely right on! And because this is a mixed sport ( meaning that we paddle with girls aswell as blokes, but we still race in mens, womens, and mixed teams) means you get some good looing Espcially when we race in the national championships and we get all the hotties coming out from NSW and Brisbane, from the University clubs.
It's well worth giving it a try. All are welcome to come out.
