hi all its me again, i might b buying a ke30 soon but i was wondering if you have to get an engineer's certificate if you are going to put a 4a-ge into a ke30? i want to make sure you dont but if you do need one then roughly how much am i up for?

you definitely do. and brakes to match. call an engineer..
basic price would be around $400... but it will cost much mnmore than that to put in brakes and diff that will cope.

the guy that did my 2tg didnt want brakes
and i can understand that, they work good enough, and a 2tg or a 4ag is no rocket ship

ok so i guess that i will have to get an engineer's certificate but can i put the engine and gearbox in myself and alter the crossmember by welding in the engine mounts or does he have to put all that together himself? so you think $400? i would have thought alot more. does anyone know of a good one in sydney?
