20V Idle/Brake Booster Problems

Hey guys,
I got a slight problem on my 20v. I hooked up what I thought to be the brake booster, now i know that on a 20v you can hook it up to either the vacuum points on throttle 1 or 4, from what i could tell on my setup is that both these holes were summed by a t-joint that was under my throttles. Now i hooked the brake booster up to the last point on the t-joint. however, in doing so, the engine wouldn't idle, it would just shut off. Upon removal the car would idle fine.
I tried searching but couldn't find anything like this... any advice guys? should i remove the t-joint? am i hooking it up to the wrong thing?
help!

well i did a similar thing with Finney's 20V. I just ended up using the port from cylinder 1 and blocking off the one from cylinder 4. Works fine, and i have confirmed most people do this.

so remove the t-joint all together and block one of those points?
so essentially keeping the vacuum inside the throttle instead of causing it to stall?
can anyone else confirm if this works?
what stumps is that this exact setup was running fine in the car that had it before me (same model)

another problem i'm facing is that atm, it's idling very low, really struggling to get to a smooth rev (it was revving fine a little while ago, before i played around a little with the vacuum/brake booster)... now when i rev it a little, it revs like crazy, but the throttles/trumpets stay closed
please guys, this is urgent!
