How much fuel pressure do you need to run a 4agze with 12 psi boost ??
It started to play up under full acceleration. so we crimped the return line to the fuel tank and it ran perfect under load but it would not idle.
so I'm not sure if its the fuel pump or the fuel regulator.
At idle the fuel pressure is 30 psi and 40 psi when you accelerate.
That seems reasonable. For every psi of manifold pressure the rail pressure should rise 1psi and your is doing that so its fine. The idle(vacuum) fuel pressure seems a little low but that maybe what gze's run stock.
Less pressure is need for good atomisation when the manifold is in vacuum cause the suction helps fuel distribution and atomisation.
