GX81 Digital Dash

Working on a GX81 MarkII, the digital dash doesn't light up.
The indicators work, as do the warning lights, but PRND21, speedo, tacho, temp, fuel do not.
According to this diagram,
http://www.reanimotion.com/toymods/resources/digid ash.jpg
Connector A is the main one.
I have power from GUAGE fuse, no power from ST fuse (don't even know what ST fuse is ), I have power from DOME fuse, and both grounds work.
Can you blow a dash?
Anyone got a spare in Perth I can test with?

i think dig dashes can easily be fried
yr best bet is find a std car weith same dash and try removing the powers and see which one actually makes it work
sometimes they get power feed thru weird and wonderful places
in the end all u can do is tests
this is y i stop givin info out
the tests are to valuable to hand out

bowlsclubboy wrote on Mon, 19 September 2005 21:34 | I have no idea on the subject, but if someone manages to enable (read:cheaply) my fuel gauge on my mx83 digi dash, it would be great to hear about lol...I would just convert it back to analogue but i know thats even more cost/hastle.
EDIT: Sorry to hear that sideshow, i know how many wankers argued with you over the time you/me have been here, but your posts have always been informative and helpful. Rest assured, that if you werent 600+kms away, you would have gotten my business many times over.

you need a digital fuel sender for the digi dash, flyen has wired up his digi dash over on the cressida forums.

Thanks guys.
Problem is that I just can't go find someone else locally with a digidash.
They aren't exactly common.
Might give the dash to someone, get them to look/repair.

Sorry, can't PM as I don't have PM's enabled. Does $50 plus postage sound fair? Email me to discuss further if you like.
Cheers.

Yeah, been talking to him.
He used the complete JZX81 dash loom, so he's not sure how it all works.
He doesn't have any diagrams either.
