Holy shit thats a mother load of boost 1500rwhp eh, thats just a tad more than the previous highest figure i'd heard of for a street car being 1430rwhp for an old commodore running a 383 (i think) twin turbo setup.
At 59psi though you really wonder how much life this beast has left in it.

High boost is what the nutters in tractor pulling comps run
I was going to buy the Supra but I couldn't be arsed with a right hand drive conversion.

Somehow I don't think a 1500rwhp car is going to need a manual to be able to smoke em up.

Let alone a decent supercar say Lamboghini Diablo, Murcielago etc.
Just in case you didn't know i am taking the piss, but meh they are overpriced overweight and don't handle that well

overpriced, overweight.... but get to 200km/hr faster than the corona gets the 100 ![Razz](images/smiley_icons/tongue.gif)
i think they would handle bloody well, especially in the 200-300km/hr region, which is what it is built for.
i still think it would own the corona on the old pac ![Razz](images/smiley_icons/tongue.gif)
when was the last time you drove a new merc?
did i mention the brake discs that are bigger than your rims??
oh and 1.3kg/Nm ummm.. right.... thats.. 730Nm in a spoontah...

Its got nothing on a BMW M5 though, much nicer car 7 speed SMG better handling. I wasn't comparing it to the corona just other euros that are out there and imo the mercs just don't cut the mustard they have power but thats about it, they are heavier than there bravarian cousins aren't as technologically advanced engine wise (anyone can strap turbos on a car and make it go fast) nor do they handle as well either.
I'd take an M5 over one anyday but even then i'd prefer a Murcielago GT the new race spec model that weighs 1250kg and has 522kw out of a NA 6.5L V12 mmmmm nasty and it has a factory wing that would make every ricer weak at the knees. i've driven a few olds ones, and a few new ones, as well as the odd beemer.... they both have boaty handling compared to a shopping trolley, but they have higher levels of grip, and they are stable..
they aren't designed or campbelltown streets, they are designed for autobahns. heavy = required stability at 300km/hr+. how many supercars are actually light?
you can talk shit all day about cars you can't afford, but at the end of the day, until you drive one, you will never know

Thats why toyota is on a winner, people say the supras and soarers are large heavy cruisers, but when you have 400kw@wheels out of an standard internals engine, you would want some weight holding it down, compared to Nissans you put 400kw@wheels in a silvia or 180 and wel see how long it takes to get traction , not to mention the high instability at high speeds .

Turbo's are cheating..... Unless you have four, along with four cylinder banks, and 1000bhp standard, and 1250Nm of torque, and an expected (they haven't really tested yet) 0-100 of 2.5 and a tested 0-300km/h in 16 seconds ![Razz](images/smiley_icons/tongue.gif)
But I think i'ld prefer the look of the supra over the veyron, they look a bit weird.
I have snails that big too... if that pic represents 1:1 scale

The front axle is fitted with vented ceramics discs in size 375 x 36 mm and 12-piston aluminum fixed calipers. The rear axle features steel discs in size 355 x 28 mm and 6-piston aluminum fixed calipers to round out the powerful and fade-resistant brake system.
