1UZ ignition curve	Tue, 20 September 2005 02:29

I am setting up a 1UZ on straight gas, Does any one know what the ignition curve should look like, as I am intending to make an ignition only computer to control the coils. Thanks. [Report message to a moderator]

Should go from about 20degrees to about 35degrees at redline. But it depends on quality of fuel. Gas is probably different too. [Report message to a moderator]

Gas is only slightly different, basically the same curve but in a narower band. I am just after a base line to work from really. 20deg BTDC at idle! I thought around 10 or so? Full load/rpm sounds right at 35. [Report message to a moderator]

10 is only when you set the timing. Unbridge the connectors and it will jump to 15-18. [Report message to a moderator]
