AE92 4a gze stuff Tue, 20 September 2005 05:15 Go to next message
Hello peoples.

I am currently rebuilding my 4a gze and am having some difficulty getting some parts for it. I'm after just the timing belt, cam seals and cam angle sensor o'ring.
My question is would anybody who owns possibly an AE92 gtz or someones who's done a conversion, and recorded the VIN. for this purpose, would be so kind as to allow me to use their vin to aquire some parts. Or if someone happened to have part numbers for the cam and cam sensor seals and also the timing belt, would be mucho appreciato. The engine in question is an AE92 GZE using a map sensor and coil packs. Thankyou for reading this far.

I wasn't sure if these sorts of things were the same as on a GE. How sure are you the timing belt is the same? Cheers

Thanks for your help 1200det and kingmick. I won't need you to send me anything. As it happens, I work for a Toyota dealership so I get an alright price already. Its just that none of the spare parts monkeys could give me a straight up answer as to whether they were the same.

I dont't suppose either of you know what my old block would be worth? The rings are rooted but its still got the rest of the goodies in it. Cheers.

if you work for a Toyota dealership, get in touch with Castle Hill Toyota in Sydney. The guys there know their stuff when it comes to ordering GZE parts. They helped me out a lot! Very Happy

You can have one rod bolt for that. Would you to pick it up or shall I send it? Very Happy

DanielGVisser: Will the part numbers be specific for a GZE or will they superseed to the GE ones?
