I have a ta22 diff.
I think they are 4.1 ratio?
I want to put this in my t18 diff.
Will this work?
Any help would be great
Thanks

If it's a T series diff it will be a 4.1.

T-18's are usually 3.9, ta22's are usually 4.1, the trans code on the celica for 4.1 is T292 or something similar.
the celica centre will fit your t-18 diff.

As you can see from above it's either 3.9 or 4.1
Easiest way to tell is to either count teeth, or if the centre is in a housing then count turns of the tailshaft for one turn of an axle.

I should probably add that not all TA22's have a T series diff. The early ones (I think pre 73?) came with a D series.

FYI TA23 with automatic transmission had the option of 4.3.
It's rare as hens teeth as to get it the original buyer had to select the 1600 over the 2L (TA23 over RA23), then select the auto over the manual, then select the 4.3 in preference to the 4.1.
As if you would choose the 'optional' shorter ratio instead of the 'standard' 4.1 if you'd already chosen the small engine and the automatic ~ in a Celica!
