i guess the DS should do fine for another 2 years until the novelty value of having 2 screens wears out.. with power names such as Mario, Pokemon, Nintendogs and zelda thats pretty much aimed at minors.. which also made me realise there are barely any hand held games that has blood n guns with tits n explosions with nintendo.. aside from RESIDENT EVIL 0/4 Evil or Very Mad

and also....

Ie by only having one unit you only need physically one hand to hold it, that if you were to hold it one handed would have one side flapping in the wind.

The Revolution Controller will make it awefully hard for you to be spanking yourself silly whilst playing computer games hey Rona! Time to invest in a dog and a jar of honey me thinks Laughing

Thankyou for your enlightening remark Rolling Eyes, my point is that if you need to do anything other than play the game then you need to pause ie you can't eat, drink, blow your nose etc without pausing it. Wink

OR YOU COULD DO ANY NUMBER OF THE THINGS I MENTIONED ABOVE! Jeez!

Ditto.

Besides corona, picture this. You are using the analogue stick in your left hand and the remote in your right hand. If the pause button is on the remote, what is stopping you from pressing it while you're holding both the analogue stick in your left and the remote in your right?
Then you can blow your nose/load and come back to the game.
If somehow doing two things at once is a bit too complicated for some people (but surely not for yourself) then just let go of the left analogue stick. It is used for movement (ie. moving backwards and forward or strafing left and right), thus letting it go will just make u stand still.

From IGN:
Quote:

Below, readers can see a concept of what a shotgun-style cradle for Revolution's pointer unit might look like. The free-hand remote fits snugly into the front of the shotgun casing, enabling users to hold the device as they might a real shotgun. A functioning trigger on the shotgun attachment enables intuitive shooting operations. The pump located underneath the gun could also be slid up and down to reload bullets in games, an action that would no doubt feel extremely realistic and be simultaneously fast.

Edit:

Second Concept:
Quote:

Of course, a light gun attachment would by no means need to be limited to static gameplay environments. A modified version of the add-on might include a rear-mounted analog stick for character movement. In a Revolution-specific Resident Evil sequel, players could control Leon S. Kennedy through environments with the analog stick while aiming, shooting and reloading with the shotgun attachment. See the modified attachment below

Actually they're set to make a fortune on addons. Smile

Nintendo has a history of trying outlandish ideas on controllers, and they often pan out well. c.f. the rumble pack - it's built into competitor's controllers as Nintendo took out a patent on the concept of an addon rumble pack. Sony had to build it in to the Dual Shock to compete.
