Hmm, I've got XT130 struts on my Rolla and RT132 struts in my garage, but no spare XT130 callipers to see if they fit on the RT132 struts... How do I measure this?

I'm really interested in this too as I "thought" mine were RT132.
demuire: you just need to measure the distance beween the centres of the two large bolts that hold the caliper to the strut leg.
Please let us know!

I just did a rough measurement with a measuring tape, it looks like 90mm to me. If it's out, it's not out by much.
I'm 100% certain my struts aren't from an XT130, and I am about 80% certain they are from an RT132. If it helps at all, the "donor" car was a sedan, and it had a 21RC in it.

Ok here is a pic of the 132 strut
http://www.geocities.com/kpamente/
could someone verify it? the bolt holes are 90mm and the axel looks about 35mm.

well... i may be miss informed becuase i asked the wrecker for an XT130 strut and received an RT132 strut and was told they were the same, but when i got it home the caliper mounting holes werent the right spacing, so he must have given me a different strut becuase i never saw it on the car. if this is the case dissregard my last comment. im happy either way tho cause i definately have XT130 struts i took them from the car myself.

Not all Coronas have the same brakes, some are Aus built, some are Jap built. The types of brakes are single piston sliding type (with large mounting hole spacing); and twin piston fixed type (with 90mm bolt hole spacing). RT132s had both types, you have to get the right ones; Same as engines, some coronas has 18Rs, 20Rs, 21Rs, 1Xs, etc. The brakes changed according to engine/transmission/body shape/plant build config. Good luck
All the shocks are interchangeable with 23/8 and 40/60 celicas i believe.
