ok, now, could only Rod reply to me please (i mean Rod Try)
we all know what happened to your poor old 4AGE... damn shame about the thin oil... i'll keep that in mind, i used to run full syn 5W30 in my 4AGE, now i'm using full syn 20W50... next lot will be a blended 15W40 i think... just what is cheap and easy at work!
anyway, tot he point... what ever happened to your old engine after the spun bearing??? is it still about??? cos i remember reading something somewhere about some quite radical cams... anyway, if you still got them, maybe i'd be interested in them for my engine... you know the specs??? might they be for sale???
get back to me...

Dorikin,
Mate the cams were actually done by Kellford Cams in QLD and they were noy exactly in good shape. The case hardening was breaking down and a couple of the lobes were really bad !
The cam specs were actually a poor choice in my opinion. Lift was actually 0.4mm less than stock JDM "86kw" cams Duration wa sincreased but they were not something I would have chosen I have alot of stuff here somewhere on Profiles for the 4AGE as I researched it for some months before going back to the T series.
I actually parted out the engine when it came out. Most of it ended up not far away so I could make room in the Shed.
If your chasing cams then I would perhaps shy away from Kelford. If you need help with your Cam choices there are are people on here that really do know there stuff and failing that Graham Wilkins who builds my engines is Quite familiar with the 4AGE.
Hope that helps,
