Hi everyone. I am new here. I just bought a beat-up TA22 and now trying to sort out what needed to be fixed. Just discovered that both windows winders & mechanism are all worn-out. I would like to know what sort of toyota (model, year) window mechanism can replace the TA22's? Any mod required to it?

the only bits that should need replaing are the rollers.you can use sliding door rollers instead of the originals, do a search i'm sure it has been posted. i think i remember someone saying they had machined up some brass rollers which were also working well.
i had the same issue with my ta22..i got the rollers mynameisrodney is talking about and it worked a treat..it might take u about an hr to figure out out to do it but the 2nd window u do should be done in now time...
