I have been looking for some new pistons for my 3tg but have had no luck, does anyone stock or supply these dreaded things?

As per before try Sean Moloney in Melbourne 03 94285277. Becarful of people selling rebuild kits for 3tg, you may get all the gaskets but some use decompressed N/A pistons (slots in piston at oil ring as opposed to drilled holes at oil ring in turboed pistons) and they don't last long, trust me I know . Or get some forged ones made, had ross racing made for mine, sent a sample piston away and recived 4 nice shiney new ones with gapless rings and pins for the grand total of $1280.

i have been looking at using 40 thou over telstar pistons which will have a comp of approx 7.2 slightly lower than standed 8.2, as they have the same comp hight and bore size as the 3t can anyone see any reason why this wont work?? I am a little worried that it may be a little boggy in the low rpm...

Why would you use Telstar pistons when you can buy 3T-C pistons and get the valve releifs machined to fit?
I rang Sean Maloney. You can buy standard 3T pistons off him that he has already machined to suit the twincam valves. $450 a set with rings.
