why are the objects used to give a scale in wheel photos always a lighter or a pack of smokes. do you have to smoke to appreciate deep dish wheels?

Smoking's cool. Didn't you learn that in high school?
Until you figure out why you can't climb a set of stairs no more.

its true u know, smoking and deep dish wheels are on their own level of cool... im talking super cool or sumfin crazy!
but im thinking, wouldnt it be easier to use like a ruler in inches or sumfin to indicate dish?
otherwise the people that make these wheels, ALL, smoke?
thats all i can come up wif atm.

its just easier to get an internationally recognised medium of measurement (everyone knows how big a pack of smokes is) than using a ruler or something...
you'd have to get a close shot of the ruler to see how much dish, which means you cant get the whole wheel in the shot...
its just easier to use something like smokes, heh
sheesh
