Lexus AFM mod

Hi all,
can anyone tell me if there are any physical modifications necessary to make the lexus AFM fit where the old 7MGTE one was? I know I have to upgrade fuel pump, injectors and I'm better off getting an s-afc, but does anything need to be fabricated to make the afm fit in the first place?
thanks

ps to clarify a bit;
will i need to make an adaptor to fit a filter? the lexus afm comes with a round fitting on one end but only the rectangular honeycombed job at the other end.

I'm interested in seeing how you go with this. I have the Lexus AFM, 550cc injectors, Walbro fuel pump, and S-AFC (already installed) for this mod but haven't installed it yet due to lack of knowledge

The lexus AFM is a straight swap even the electrics or if you desire you can swap the 7M AFM electrics across to the Lex AFM.
Now there a direct swap physically but dont think you can use the AFM without supporting mods like the 550cc Injectors etc

Yeah i know that part, i guess i'm worried about the car running too lean once i install everything. Is a rising rate FPR required for this mod, or can you get away with not using one?

I would advise a FPR although i havent personally used a rising rate nor do our fellow yanks.
LEX AFM and 550cc Injectors , FPR , J-pipe restriction removed and a SAFC for what you said to make sure your not running lean as these mods dont always do the same thing as it has on other 7M`s

J-pipe restriction?? I haven't heard of this one before.
Have you installed the AFM mod on any of your 7M's before?? If so, what kind of performance increase did you notice?
