You can make it fit, but theres a little bit of work involved. You either need to make some new engine mounts, to lower the engine an inch, or get the brace bent up an inch to clear, but if you do it this way, you will also have to cut a hole in the bonnet for the brace to stick through.
This statement has not been authorised by anyone for anyone. All information stated in the above post should be completely ignored and if you do end up cutting a hole in your bonnet then you deserve to have your brace custom bent over your head. it is a straight fit, just do it, you know you want to.

Ahh, the whiteline brace is a different matter. To get that to fit, you need to cut the strut mounts out of the guards, rotate them 360 degrees, then weld them back in, then it will fit.

in regards to ae86 brace into ke70, i have found they CAN fit, however the 2 ke70's i tried seemed to be a little wider and the brace only fit with the adjustment wound all the way out leaving minimal thread to hold the brace together.
but thats a silly matter, back to the conundrum of fitting strut braces to engine bays with 4ac's

I guess it depends on the type. My Tanabe one fitted an AE86 with a 4ac then 4age and a KE70 with a 4age.

My advice to you (ofcourse, assuming you mean EVERYONE, and not ANYONE) is to sell the 86, and buy something good. Or rather... that has good value for money.
