HELP!! 4agze Shim sizes

Guys i need help..
i pulled all the shim buckets out and now they are all mixed up.To the eye they all looked the same.Now i know there is two size shims on the buckets , either the inlet side is thicker or the exhaust side is thicker..
Does anyone know...
so i can put it back together..

any help would be much appreciated

There could be a whole multitude of different thickness shims to get the correct clearance at each cam lobe, and you are gonna have a hell of a fun time working them out

from my understanding from someone ,that there was only two thicknesses
The exhaust side and the inlet side..
Can anyone confirm please...

the tolerence for the exhaust will be different from the
inlet, but there is not only two sizes, due to wear
that occurs in and about the cam lobes, bucket's, shims
and valve stem you may need 16 different sizes,
do you have a tool to measure shim thickness?
find out what the vavle clearence is supposed to be!

Does anyone know if the valve clearance is the same for the 100kw and the gze?

If the clearance's were right before you should be able to get them right now without getting new shims.
just put them in anywhere and measure the gaps on each valve wright them down then workout which sims you need to put wear so you get the right clearance's.
Its a pain but you will never mix up shims again
