20V flywheel can be used on 16v and vice versa.
You need a 20V clutch to suit a 20V flywheel and a 16V clutch to suit a 16V flywheel.
16V clutch has a 200mm diameter,
20V clutch has a 212mm diameter.

Thanks heaps mate and you rekon is it possible to purchase a 20v clutch brand new from auto spare shop or sumfn like that, so now i know why i have blown my fuking clutches excuse my language, or you rekon i should just lightn the 16v flywheel and put it in along with a 16v clutch if there are no clutches gfor the silver top??

You can buy a 20V clutch at any auto shop, your best bet would be a brake and clutch supply shop as they have experience and can recommand a clutch for your application and will do it cheaper than repco or auto one.
When you buy a clutch buy it to suit the flywheel your using.
I wouldn't put the 16V flywheel back in as its heavier and smaller in diameter then the 20v flywheel, which means that the 16V flywheel and clutch will wear quicker and wont work as well as the 20V flywheel.

I was under the impression that the 20V & Smallport 16V flywheel/clutch combos were the same ??!?

Yeah a late model smallport has the larger clutch and flywheel.
But the 20V flywheel is lighter.

My thoughts were:
200mm = RWD 4AGE 16V
212mm = FWD 4AGE 16V and 20V
224mm = most GZE
230mm = late GZE
All 8 bolt.

No, late model 16V and 20V are the same, S/T and 16V are the same flywheel in weight and dimensions, the B/T is the one you want as these will fit a 16V and are factory lightened.
Henn your right, except the very first 16V had 6 bolt aka 4AC, FC, FE and 7A, but these are very rare to find unless someone has done a bodgey!

Exactly how heavy is the late model 16v/20v st flywheel? and how much more can you lighten them?

exactly, not sure never weighed them, but easily a kilo. I don't bother lighten a 16V/20V S/T cause I have a couple of these now and sold off any of the 16/20v as more are turning up ever time I look.

im not sure how far you can lighten them, but i've jsut got a 20V flywheel thats been machined/ lightened to about 4.5 kg so...
