Reffered Users...wtf

This morning by chance I noticed that I had suddenly reffered 8 users to this forum, last time I checked it was only one...i was curious as to who it was...
6 out of the 8 were accounted for but then two popped up that shocked me an awful lot

if my memory serves me correctly, those are the two user Id's associated with that "promo girl" who retained about 6 pages of chops in the WBT?
goddamnit i hate nissansilvia.com sometimes...

You'll notice in the address bar of this forum there is a random collection of letters and numbers at the end.
This is you.
When a nonmember views the forum through a link you provided (which has your unique ID on it), and they sign up, they will go under your referred list.
So if you have posted a link to a thread here on another forum, and ppl click on it, and sign up, you have referred them.
This is the only forum I know that does it.

Does anyone have any "cool" referred users like Bubbles or Rona? My referred users are pretty boring.
