My diff goes clunk every time I change gears. Any kind of easy fixes or should I start looking for a new diff?
Will changeing the oil do anything? Can someone suggest a type so I can do it this weekend. Btw its an ra65.

It sounds like it could be a backlash issue in the diff caused by wear.
May also be lash in your tailshaft/s... Check out you backlash in the diff and also the uni's in your tailshaft/s.
Good luck with it.

put handbrake on, take it out of gear, get under and try and rotate the tailshaft back and forward by hand.... it shouldn't move heaps...
if it does...
pull out centre, adjust backlash, stick it back in
check all suspension monuts while you are there..

backlash adjusters!
you are talking about the pinion/spider gear backlash, and not the ring/crownwheel & pinion backlash, right??

No. Crownwheel/pinion lash is what will cause noise.
Take apart,
replace bearings,
reshim,
lap,
test,
preload,
set backlash,
reinstall.
