Hilux Diff

I'm looking for info about the Hilux diff.
#1. What model the different ratios came in?
#2. Are the centres marked in some way to identify the ratio without removing the center from the housing?

1. There are too many models and variations to definitively list the available ratios. The Hilux has been around for about 40 years now.
2. The diff housing has no useful markings on it, but if it's still in the original vehicle you can get the axle code from the build plate and use that to determine the ratio. Failing that, you'll have to pull the centre out and count the teeth.

Thanks for the reply, just thought that I may have been able to narrow it down closer so I can pick up a few centers. I'm looking for a 4.1 & 3.7

Have a look in the yellow pages under automotive and look for offroad shops and/or 4wd wreckers. Then do a bit of shopping for the best deal.
